Client work
Dr Reena Shah works with individuals (children and adolescents, adults and older adults) couples and families and can facilitate group work. She has experience of working with a variety of clients with a range of presenting problems.
Dr Shah’s work is informed by many therapeutic models, including Systemic, Cognitive Behavioural, Behavioural, Family Therapy and Solution-focused. She advocates for tailored therapy for the needs of her client(s).
In the NHS, Dr Shah has worked in Dermatology departments, Community Mental Health teams (CMHT), memory clinics, medium secure units and in specific mental health units in well-known hospitals. She is currently working in a CMHT in Central and North West London NHS Trust.
Privately Dr Shah has her own practice in Ickenham, Middlesex. She works as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist at The Dermatology Clinic in Harley Street, London and works closely with Consultant Dermatologists. She also provides consultation to Dove, Unilever and lectures on various courses on Psychodermatology at hospitals and universities.
